GEORGE McKerry, Manager of Julian Graves at Loch Lomond Shores, has been nominated as Manager of the Year in a UK wide competition.

George, who has been Manager at the popular health food store since its opening 10 years ago, found out he had been nominated for the prestigious award this week.

George said "I was delighted to hear that I had been nominated out of 20 managers in the area"

"It came as a bit of a shock, but it's great to be recognised for all the hard work I do, and it's so easy to do a good job in such a great place" added George.

This March George will have to compete against other finalists from both Julian Graves and Holland and Barrett stores UK wide to win the Manager of the Year crown.

The next stage of the competition will see the various participants demonstrate their product knowledge, innovative thinking and customer service skills.

The details of the winner's prize have not yet been released however in 2011 the winners received an all expenses trip to New York.
