ALAN Reid MP welcomed the decision of the Office of Fair Trading to launch a fact-finding review to understand more about the challenges facing consumers and businesses in remote communities across the UK.

Mr Reid said: "This review is very welcome. In particular, I want the review to look into the high price of fuel, both for vehicles and heating homes, and the high charges for delivering parcels."
